Tinker Bell is a preexisting fictional character from J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan, who had been accidentally read into the real world by Meggie Folchart while she was reading the said story aloud.[1]

Biography[]

She was read out of Peter Pan by Meggie Folchart, and caught by Basta when he enters the room. Basta puts her in a jug inside his house.[1]

  • When asked what happened to Tinker Bell after the events in Inkheart, Cornelia Funke admitted she cannot give a clear answer, as she put "Stories don't reveal all their secrets to the writer!"[3]
